Rock Book Show Interview–Sean Yseult “I’m In The Band: Backstage Notes From The Chick In White Zombie”

Sean Yseult is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. She also played bass and wrote music in White Zombie from 1985-1996.  Formed in NYC while students as Parsons, Sean became the only woman in metal at the time.

Luckily,  Sean has been documenting her life in life, saving many momentos along the way. Her incredible journey has been put together in this book… part memoir, part scrapbook  and part backstage pass.

In this interview we talk about her early life as a “baby belle”, touring the world on a shoestring and then as a superstar, her special bond with Dimebag Darrell (including information on a previously unreleased song they did together late one night), and two guys that changed her life forever…Beavis and Butthead.

Find Sean on Facebook here. Check out her website and learn more about Rock City Morgue here and find Star & Dagger here.(Look for a Star & Dagger record this Fall)  You can also buy some of Sean’s gorgeous designs  here.    And special thanks to City Winery for providing our stunning location.
